HazMat Day

Hazmat Day is June 11, 2022 from 8 to 1pm at Bluffton Middle School.
Acceptable Household Items:
Paints, flammable liquids, old gasoline, kerosene, pesticides, herbicides, motor oil, antifreeze, cleaners, aerosols, corrosive liquids/acids, mercury, fluorescent lamp and PCB ballasts, auto & household batteries.
Pharmaceuticals:
Prescription drugs (in original labeled prescription container), sharps/needles (all sharps must be in sealed containers such as a milk jug or original packaging container).
Appliances:
Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, stoves, washers, dryers, water heaters, dishwashers, microwaves.
Electronics:
Monitors, CPU, keyboards, printers, fax machines, VCR/DVD, cell phones, cables.
The following charges will apply to these items:
- Televisions: Standard $20.00 *Large or Console: $25.00
- Tires:
- Auto Tires: up to 4 – FREE; $2.00 for each additional, limit 12
- Truck Tires: up to 4 – FREE; $5.00 for each additional, limit 6
- Tractor Tires (or tires over 54” tall) $75.00 each
- (Tires on rims will be accepted, additional charge $1.00)
